Representing a major Corporation before the CESTAT, Ahmedabad in a matter related to import of South African and Indonesian Coal and demand of Customs Duty thereon of Rs. 300 Million. The matter is one the leading cases in the country.

Dispute Resolution

Represented the Chairman, Directors and Senior Executives of a major corporation; in a Sales Tax evasion matter of ₹6000 million. The matter is, till date, one of the largest matters in terms of value in the jurisdiction of the court in which it was filed.


Alternate Dispute Resolution

Represented a construction company in a Service Tax Appeal against an order of CESTAT, New Delhi in which tax liability of ₹100 million was imposed. The matter has been stayed by the High Court and without insisting on pre-deposit.

Representing major real estate builder and construction company in a bunch of seven cases by filed by a leading Finance Company of the country. The valuation of the assets involves in the cases is estimated to be ₹700 million.

Represented major Government University in a bunch related to cancellation of affiliation after reports were lodged against the college administration by the Anti-Corruption Bureau. The petitions were decided in our client's favour.

Represented several mining associations in a matter pertaining to illegal mining in Aravali Hills. The matter is a leading environmental law case in the country and relates to numerous aspects of laws relating to mining.

Represented a major manufacturer in a dispute with respect to an Industrial All Risk Policy (IAR) which would include all the existing perils covered which such as Machinery Breakdown, Fire loss of profit and Machinery Loss of profit.  

Represented the heirs of an erstwhile Royal Family in a Writ Petition against an order passed by Trial Court, was challenged before the High Court. The proceedings of the trial court were stayed by Court in exercise of its powers under Article 227.


Assisted a major mining company in an investigation by DGCEI looking into the evasion of Customs and Central Excise Duty by the mining company. The appeal filed against the assessment was allowed by CESTAT, Mumbai.

Represented a ballistic expert in in a high profile case against the order of Delhi High Court affirming perjury proceedings against the expert. Subsequently, the order of the Delhi High Court instituting perjury proceedings was quashed and set-aside.

Represented the female heirs of an erstwhile Royal Family in an appeal in a partition suit wherein property worth more than Rs. 5000 million was involved. The High Court stayed the operation of the order passed by the Board of Revenue against our clients.
